Mondays

8:30-9:45 am NEW CLASS, NEW TEACHER: Align Your Heart with Elizabeth Kittell, Followed by Meditation 9:55-10:20am

Align your Heart is open to all yoga levels, including total beginners. This slow powerful flow will help you make subtle physical and mental adjustments so you can align your bones, align your week and align your heart with the highest level of yourself. Each class will have a specific theme to help you move into the subtle aspects of your heart center.  The simple alignment principles taught in this class will help you build a strong yoga foundation if you are a total beginner and help you break into the next level of your practice if you are an experienced yoga practitioner.  You can expect to have fun on this heart centered mind-body journey! 

11:00-12:15am: Tantra Power Yoga Gives Back: FREE YOGA at the McCALL COMMUNITY CENTER

As part of our adherence to the yoga principles of generosity and giving back we offer free classes to the community.

MYTHS AND THE CHAKRAS: 8-WEEK SERIES Starting October 2 with Tracey Kindall
This 8-week workshop will Introduce Participants to the Energetic Chakra System in the Body and their relation to Myths and Stories told across Global cultures. Relating Myth and the Chakras to Your Yoga Practice will expand your understanding of yourself and your relationship to the Universe. $120 for the 8-Weeks.

Starting October 2 and continuing the First Monday of each Month, Join Carissa Chamberlain of Huckleberry Baby for "My Whole Pregnancy", a support and educational group for women covering a different pregnancy related topic each month including prenatal yoga, lactation and feeding options, and more. About Our Classes

Tantra Power Yoga strives to provide a variety of classes suited for Practitioners of ALL ABILITY LEVELS.

Meditation Practice with Jodie

Traditionally, the purpose of Asana or Posture practice in Yoga was to prepare and calm the body for Meditation. In keeping with this tradition, Jodie follows all of her yoga classes with a structured, guided 25 minute meditation practice. ALL LEVELS WELCOME. 


FREE COMMUNITY YOGA: YOGA BASICS with Tracey

Free Community Yoga is back on Wednesday nights to offer Yoga Basics:  guidance in the basic building blocks of yoga practice. Each class will include a lengthy warm-up followed by a gentle flow of movement through common yoga postures, an introduction to simple breathing techniques, and a short guided meditation. Along the way, this class will also feature explanations of common yoga terms and practices. This is a perfect class for absolute beginners, as well as for those wanting to move slowly and gently through a practice. Suitable for ALL LEVELS


HOT YOGA FLOWs with Jodie, Tom, and Kasey

All Levels Welcome. A Vinyasa Class (meaning a flow from one posture to the next) with emphasis on strength, balance, flexibility and concentration. The 100-104 Degree heat will Energize, Vitalize, and Detox your body.  The acceleration of flexibility, weight loss and hormonal and mood regulation can be expected.

We have four flows that alternate every two weeks. Flow 1 focuses on Basics & Alignment, Flow 2: Twisting and Balancing, Flow 3: Heart Opening, and Flow 4: Inversions. Vinyasa can mean 'to place in a special way' and is characterized by linking breath with body movement. OPEN TO ALL LEVELS.

YOGA LAB with Kasey

This class creates a "Laboratory" environment in which to explore deeply and in detail the unique dynamics of movement through yoga.  A warm, slow and steady vinyasa flow class with a focus on respecting and learning more about structural integrity and physical and mental capacities and limitations.  We always start by stoking the fire from the inside, building strength and flexibility to support us as we explore new possibilities in movement and in life! Suitable for ALL LEVELS.


Restorative Yoga with Serene and Tracey

Restorative Yoga helps to relieve the effects of stress by allowing the central nervous system to calm while the body is fully supported with the use of props (bolsters, blankets, blocks etc), stimulating relaxation and a sense of restoring and renewing. Healing Touch deepens these soft restorative openings to allow  healing, harmony and compassion to manifest while simultaneously releasing stuck energies and old habits.  Restorative Yoga and Healing Touch will lovingly bring the mind, body, and spirit to a calm still state of rest and repair. Suitable for ALL LEVELS.


PRIVATE CLASSES

Private classes are available for individuals, couples, and groups and can be scheduled by appointment. Private class times can be used to address specific questions, physical limitations, to create a personalized yoga practice, for personal empowerment, and for sports teams. From the very beginning, I wanted to learn more about yoga in its traditional forms and historical context, not the trendy franchised brands featuring contrived environments and practices that cater to the latest trends in fashionable modern consumer culture. And I wanted to learn from competent, well-grounded and well-rounded experienced teachers in as traditional a manner as possible, where knowledge and wisdom are passed on from previous generations of accomplished teachers to students.

When Jodie began her yoga instructor training program in her own yoga studio, there was never any question in my mind that if I was ever going to do this, it would be with her and her associates. I certainly haven’t regretted it. And I don’t think she will either when over time she sees what she has helped create - in all of us, in McCall, in this world, and in the Universe.
